About the Role:
Kettering Health Network is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Imaging Services department.
Responsibilities:
- Perform timely and accurate MRI exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Interact positively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance during procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist with other duties as assigned and contribute to the overall efficiency of the Imaging Services department.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an ARRT-accredited MRI educational program and registered in MRI or Radiography/Nuclear Medicine/Radiation Therapy/Sonography/ARRT MRI within one year.
- Current BLS certification.
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- One year of MRI experience.
- ARRT (MR) certification.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, working Friday-Sunday, 7am-7:30pm. Possible on-call and holiday rotations may be required.
