ROLE OVERVIEW

As a pivotal member of our finance team, you will be responsible for navigating the complexities of corporate accounting and ensuring compliance with established standards. Your expertise will guide the organization in making informed financial decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze and document the accounting implications of intricate or atypical transactions.
  • Establish, implement, and uphold global accounting policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate current processes and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Assist in general accounting duties, including the preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and disclosures for external reporting.
  • Lead and engage in special projects and initiatives, providing support for cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Facilitate financial statement audits, tax audits, and other necessary audits.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a combination of public accounting and industry roles, preferably with a 'Big Four' firm.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in US GAAP.
  • Experience with multinational companies, foreign currency transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and financial consolidation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial accounting systems, with a preference for NetSuite.
  • Self-motivated individual with a robust work ethic and a positive outlook; seasonal overtime may be required.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
