Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Laredo Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computed tomography (CT) imaging and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning patients, and ensuring patient safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care for patients.
Requirements
  • ARRT certification in CT
  • 2 years of experience in CT imaging
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Work Schedule

This position requires a 7A-3P and 3P-11P rotation, with weekend rotation as needed.

Additional Information

This is a special internal vacancy, leave coverage position. The successful candidate will be required to register in CT and have a strong background in radiologic technology.
