POSITION SUMMARY

The Generator Rental Technician role is situated within our US Generator Rental Division. The key responsibilities of this position include deploying, servicing, and maintaining rental generators from Power Plus. This role necessitates traveling to various sites, engaging with customers in a professional manner, and completing inspection documentation that reflects the generator's performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Fuel, operate, and maintain generator units
  • Assist in the setup of rental generators at diverse locations, including telecommunications facilities, existing buildings, and construction sites.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on generator systems, which includes but is not limited to conducting engine oil and coolant services, as well as servicing and priming the fuel system.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Experience with diesel engines is advantageous.
  • Technical education in automotive or transportation fields, or relevant military experience is a plus.
  • Ability to safely operate heavy machinery, forklifts, and mobile cranes in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Possession of a Class A license is beneficial.
Hourly pay range: $25.00
