Work Type: Temporary Instructional Faculty
Location: Remote
Department: Physics and Astronomy
Role Summary:
The Physics and Astronomy Department is looking for qualified candidates to fill part-time instructional roles as needed throughout the academic year. Positions will be filled based on departmental requirements and student enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in Physics and Astronomy.
- Prepare course materials and manage grading and assessments.
- Hold office hours to provide academic support to students.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a relevant degree from an accredited institution. A master's degree or higher is required for lower division courses, while a doctoral degree is necessary for upper division and graduate courses. Candidates with a master's degree and substantial expertise in applied areas may be considered for lab instruction.
