Job Title: Molding Foreman

Arrowhead Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled Molding Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the molding process, ensuring high-quality products, and driving efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and start up molding process parameters and robot settings on plastics molding machines.
  • Oversee and assist with mold sets, ensuring proper configuration and tooling.
  • Approve mold sets prior to production, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Configure end-of-arm robot tooling and program robot settings for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and correct molding defects, eliminating scrap and optimizing process efficiency.
  • Review machine and process yields, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist with training of Process Technicians, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Perform regular press rounds to review part quality, tooling condition, machine condition, and proper mold sets.
  • Advise maintenance on equipment problems and required repairs, submitting written Maintenance Work Orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Good general health and physical stamina to perform job duties.
  • Ability to be on feet for 8 hours.
  • Corrected vision to a minimum of 20/30.
Benefits:
  • Starting date: ASAP.
  • Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience, subject to standard withholding.
  • Shift: Will train on first shift, then likely be assigned to 2nd or 3rd shift.
  • Hours: 8-hrs minimum per week day, 7:00 am-3:30 pm, 40-minute lunch from 11:30 until 12:10.
  • Overtime: Eligible for overtime (non-exempt), currently working 9-hour days.
  • Holidays: 9 paid holidays (New Years, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve and Day).
  • Vacation: 3-weeks starting, thereafter according to policy.
  • Profit Sharing/Retirement contribution: Paid in December based on company performance.
  • 401K: Eligible first pay of the next quarter after hire date, with a company match of 25 cents for each dollar deferred, up to a maximum of 10% of salary.
  • Hospitalization: Employee responsible for 25% of the Hospitalization Premium, deducted bi-weekly.
  • Life Insurance: Benefit amount is 40% of base salary, with double indemnity in case of an accident, minimum of $20,000.
  • Long-Term Disability: Benefit amount is $1,675 per month.
