About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to individuals undergoing dermatological assessments and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist MDs in pre- and post-procedure care
  • Provide clinical patient care, including phone and walk-in triage
  • Function as a Patient Care Coordinator as requested by the supervisor/manager
  • Act as a clinical resource to staff
Requirements
  • Ability to maintain an efficient work pace and support high patient volume
  • Organizational skills to establish workload priorities and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of clinical and surgical procedures, routine lab and surgical instruments
  • Adherence to infection control techniques and use of appropriate PPE
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical, Cosmetic Dermatologic background and experience with procedures and micrographic surgery
  • Experience with excimer treatments and aesthetic lasers
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts
