Job Summary

The Dietary Services Assistant will play a critical role in supporting our food services operations, ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and quality in the kitchen and dining areas. This position will work closely with our culinary team to prepare and serve food, maintain equipment, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Ensure the overall sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas, including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleaning duties to support our food services operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean designated equipment, including dishwashers, refrigerators, and ovens.
  • Supply Management: Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food and paper supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized training in food preparation preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of related experience in food services or a related field.
  • Skill: Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards, visual and auditory skills, ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, climb, and lift items weighing 25 lbs. or less.
