Position Overview: We are seeking qualified physicians to provide exceptional care in the field of emergency medicine. This role involves working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a physician presence on the floor with 2 physicians at all times, supplemented by 1-2 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC).
- Manage an annual patient volume of approximately 25,000, averaging about 70 patients per day.
- Credentialing process is estimated to take around 90 days.
- On-site lodging is provided for convenience.
- Medical malpractice coverage is included.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS.
- Contracts available for 13 weeks with options for extension.
- Block scheduling is offered to enhance work-life balance.
- Recent experience in the Emergency Department is necessary, with at least 24 of the last 36 months in practice.
- Familiarity with EHR/RPMS EMR systems is preferred.
