We are currently seeking a dedicated Bag Quality Inspector to enhance our production process. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting bags during the production process and ensuring compliance with our quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of bags by examining sealed ends for defects such as open ends, doubles, triples, crooked folds, and improperly sized gussets.
  • Set aside bags that require further inspection or replacement as necessary.
  • Discard any bags that do not meet quality standards.
  • Utilize a glue gun to reclaim bags when applicable.
  • Communicate with the Bottomer Operator regarding any recurring quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of the number of bags inspected and stacked on each pallet during the shift.
  • Assist fellow inspectors with cleaning and additional inspections when all tasks in the area are completed.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management to maintain production flow.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic proficiency in math, reading, and writing.
  • Ability to bend, twist, and kneel as necessary.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of 2 to 3 hours.
  • Color perception is essential.
  • Manual dexterity is required for handling materials.
