Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team at Professional Alternatives. As a key member of our service department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment maintenance services.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a service advisor role and be proficient in Excel and point-of-sale systems. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly valued. You will be responsible for initiating equipment services and repairs, developing estimates, and maintaining customer rapport and records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiates equipment services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested.
  • Develops estimates, writing repair orders, and maintaining customer rapport and records.
  • Schedules diagnostics with technicians.
  • Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor.
  • Calculates customers payment, including deductibles.
  • Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required.
  • Obtains approval signatures and enters RO into service database system.
  • Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of equipment, obtaining customers approval of estimates, obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers, answering questions and concerns.
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a service advisor role strongly preferred.
  • English / Spanish bilingual is A PLUS.
  • Computer (excel) and point-of-sale proficiency.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 + bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package, including full benefits on a contributory basis, PTO, 401k, and Life Insurance.
