About the Role

Covenant Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Sales Navigator to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating referrals and driving admissions to our skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • External Relationship Building
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including professional, clinical, governmental, and community agencies.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
  • Sales and Marketing
    • Lead outreach visits to targeted referral sources and influencers in the medical, professional, and general community.
    • Perform bedside and home visits to assess potential customers' needs and appropriateness for our care levels.
    • Develop and execute lead generation events to promote our healthcare offerings.
    • Generate interest and convert prospects into commitments using our CRM and sales process.
  • Customer Experience
    • Manage customer experience specialist for skilled care and assisted living.
    • Collaborate with healthcare administrator, sales team, and national healthcare sales team to develop and execute a census development and sales plan.
    • Oversee community-controlled marketing budget and financial stewardship of organization resources.
  • Performance Management
    • Access, maintain, and analyze team performance daily using organization-approved CRM software.
    • Review admission documentation for compliance with state and federal guidelines.
    • Evaluate customer care needs and acuity to make informed decisions about admissions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of healthcare-related experience in a related field.
  • Previous experience working with older adults in a long-term care setting.
  • Medicare, Public Aid/Medicaid, Managed Care, and Insurance knowledge/experience required.
  • R.N. or L.P.N. (L.V.N.) licensure may be considered for the role.
  • Proven sales experience, including lead generation, education, B2B sales strategies, follow-up, and strong closing skills.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently, have good organizational skills, and demonstrate initiative.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
