About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Beer Sales and Merchandising Specialist to join our team at TJ Sheehan Distributing. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our beer products are properly stocked, rotated, and displayed at chain retailers and other beer outlets in the Erie and Niagara County area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper levels of beer products are stocked, maintained, and displayed at chain retailers and other beer outlets.
  • Rotate and code products according to company standards.
  • Install and maintain permanent and paper Point of Sale material.
  • Organize and execute floor displays and placement of window neons and banners at all accounts.
  • Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in the assigned area of the Buffalo, NY market.
  • Develop and maintain effective customer relations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or better.
  • Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance and reliable transportation.
  • Previous merchandising experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position.
  • Strong attention to detail, including organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset and superior customer service skills.
  • Previous skills and experience in sales forecasting.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work independently.
