The Upstate University Hospital seeks an OBGYN Advanced Practice Provider to provide high-quality patient care. This individual will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes in obstetrics and gynecology.
Responsibilities:- Provide expert-level clinical care and coordination of care via a full range of services that will improve quality of patient care
- Assess and evaluate patients, ordering appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic studies
- Arrange for referrals, testing, consultation, and therapeutic services
- Maintain outstanding relationships with families, referring physicians, and all members of the healthcare team
- NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice)
- NPI number and Medicare Enrollment with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) OR be eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire
- ACLS, PALS, NRP Provider (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), NALS, EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring), fetal monitoring NST with interpretation, and amniotic fluid index (AFI) interpretations
- At least two years of clinical experience, one of which in obstetrics and gynecology preferred
$92,000 - $147,004 per year, prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE
