Robotic Welder

At Metalcraft, we are seeking a skilled Robotic Welder to join our team. As a Robotic Welder, you will be responsible for operating one or more welding machines or industrial robots to fabricate metal parts or assemblies to specifications.

• Lift and secure work pieces in fixtures or load automatic feeding devices.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machine factors, such as wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, type of gas, and type of weld rod.
• Start machines, engage feeds, and observe operations.
• Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
• Unload welded frames from robotic welders and place them on appropriate containers.
• Perform other related duties or work at different workstations as production needs require.

• Basic knowledge of welding theory and production processes.
