Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Medical Transport Specialist to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and compassionate organization that provides critical medical air transportation services to patients in need.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating our Pilatus PC12 aircraft, providing safe and efficient transportation of patients to medical facilities. As an Aviation Medical Transport Specialist, you will work closely with a team of medical experts to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Ensuring the aircraft is ready for flight dispatches, including all necessary preparations and checks.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including shift logs, load manifests, and other relevant data.
  • Communicating effectively with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless operations.
  • Providing shift change information to transitioning pilots and team members, and adhering to company protocols for recording shift details.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) certification, with a willingness to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
  • Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
  • A valid and currently unexpired driver's license.
  • A minimum of 2,500 total flight hours, with 2,000 fixed wing hours, 1,000 PIC hours, 500 cross-country hours, 100 night hours, and 75 instrument (50 actual) hours.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $113, $125,346.45, based on the local cost of living and industry standards. Working Conditions

As an Aviation Medical Transport Specialist, you will be required to work in outside weather conditions, which may include deicing the aircraft, assisting with towing, and maneuvering in and out of the hangar. You will also be required to stand, walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and may assist with loading patients, lifting up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
