Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
Job SummaryThis is a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Roswell, New Mexico, where the successful candidate will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab department.
Responsibilities- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications as ordered, with accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies.
- Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure, depending on the unit's specific needs.
- Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time, if required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adequate stock of supplies and equipment.
- Transport patients as needed, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- Other certifications may be required for this position, depending on the hospital's specific needs.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for this role.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as follow verbal instructions.
- Proficiency in PC skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
- Physical abilities include remaining in a stationary position, moving about, and lifting equipment (up to 50 pounds).
