Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering well-tested applications to our clients and providing essential feedback to the software development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct software testing of applications for defects and proper customer-driven functionality
  • Create and review software functionality and validation test steps
  • Provide Quality Assurance and propose required enhancements to the software development lifecycle
  • Identify risks and issues proactively and drive creative solutions
  • Participate in business requirement and functional specification reviews
  • Review Azure DevOps documentation to ensure accuracy with delivered features and fixes
  • Ensure QA Dashboard is accurate and up-to-date at all times
  • Complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of production defects
  • Update TestRail regression suite for new features and customer workflows
  • Become acting Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one product
  • Contribute to Release Retrospectives and Hotfix Recaps as required
  • Offer technical support by investigating and responding to customer feedback regarding quality
  • Collaborate or complete assigned customer tickets as required
Requirements
  • Degree in a technical area such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Familiarity of the software development lifecycle, preferably with understanding or exposure to agile/scrum methodologies
  • Familiarity or exposure to Azure DevOps, SQL, and relational DBs
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Effective problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts in clear and understandable terms for all audiences
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to serve as a functional subject matter expert for ImageTrend products and associated applications
  • Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
  • Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration, and team orientation
  • Ability to travel, up to 10%
