Pape Trucks Inc is seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team.

We are a leading medium and heavy-duty truck and equipment dealer in the West, and we are committed to providing our customers with top-notch service and support.

As a Heavy Duty Truck Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining class 7 & 8 trucks in our shop, ensuring that our customers' equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain class 7 & 8 trucks in our shop
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Computer literacy and experience with Cummins and MX software
  • Valid driver's license
  • CDL a plus
