Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with supervising physicians to conduct physical examinations and assess patient health and wellness.
- Order necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Gather and document patient medical histories and relevant health data according to established protocols.
- Develop and recommend appropriate treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Initiate treatment by prescribing medications and ordering necessary tests and procedures.
- Review laboratory results and suggest subsequent actions based on findings.
- Coordinate care and perform routine health maintenance for both new and established patients.
- Deliver preventive health services through patient and family education and counseling.
- Provide comprehensive women's health services, including performing pap smears and related procedures.
- Contribute to quality management initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current NYS APN license is mandatory.
- BLS/ACLS certification is required.
- Experience in primary care is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is essential.
