Job Summary:

Ace Hardware is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to lead our Paint department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and driving sales growth in the Paint category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage inventory levels, order merchandise and supplies, and maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Conduct regular department tours to ensure that the Paint department meets customer expectations and is well-stocked with a wide range of products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement in the Paint category.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to achieve overall store goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Department Manager or similar role in a retail environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong inventory management and merchandising skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
