Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at La Palma Intercommunity Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging services.
  • Assist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.
  • Process and transmit images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Meet the qualifications and requirements outlined below.
Qualifications
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
