Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to work in a dynamic operating room environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures.
Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology, with experience in prepping the operating room, assisting surgeons and nurses, and maintaining sterile conditions. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that all equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
Responsibilities:- Prep the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures
- Maintain sterile conditions and ensure proper disposal of biohazardous materials
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process
- Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
- Trauma Experience preferred, not required
- Travel experience preferred, not required
