Cardiothoracic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cardiothoracic surgeon to join our team at University Health Associates. As a cardiothoracic surgeon, you will be responsible for performing complex surgical procedures to treat patients with heart and lung disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cardiothoracic surgeries, including heart transplants and lung transplants
• Diagnose and treat patients with heart and lung disorders
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop treatment plans
• Participate in research and education to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cardiothoracic surgery

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
• Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery
• Completion of a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship program
• Eligibility for state medical license
