Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ambulance Operator to join our team at AMR Corp. in Natchez, MS. As an Ambulance Operator, you will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency requests for transportation, providing high-quality care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

Respond to operation and dispatch requests, using necessary tools, maps, and addresses to efficiently transport customers to and from facilities.
Clearly document trip information details and adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment for patients, complete regular mechanical checklists, and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
Use appropriate communication methods, including standard radio transmission codes, to effectively respond and route patients and comply with the company's information security standards.
Operate transportation equipment, including stretchers, hydraulic lifts, wheelchairs, and protective personal equipment, and manage disposal of supplies as necessary.
Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow drivers and operations teams.

Requirements

State Driver's License
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
CPR card (Preferred)
Driving record in compliance with company policy
Pass Physical Agility Test
Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
