Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the educational experience of students through effective assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide Counseling Services: Provide direct counseling services to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with Educators: Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving student outcomes.
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations for services and interventions.
  • Crisis Intervention and Support: Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • State Licensure: Valid Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience and Skills: Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred. Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education.
