Job Title: Inspector II

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inspector II to join our team in North Charleston, SC.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for reviewing engineered plans, specifications, and shop drawings, as well as effectively communicating with contractors and engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve engineered plans, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Communicate effectively with contractors and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Conduct daily field inspections and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in review of contractor pay requests and punch lists
  • Track quality assurance progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in a related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license required for project site visits
  • U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the work
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with project inspection/observation related to linear water and sewer projects
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
