Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Group & Event Planning Manager to join our team at AutoCamp. As a key member of our sales and events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of group and events booked by our Enterprise and Area Sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Group and Event Planning: Develop and execute group and event plans, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with clients, onsite staff, and outside vendors to ensure all details are captured and communicated effectively.
  • Booking and Sales: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual booking goals, focusing on wedding-related group room blocks and events.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with AutoCamp and Field Station team members, as well as local vendors and partners.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date on area activities, market trends, and industry events to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 years of prior hotel experience, with sales, catering, or conference services experience preferred.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to achieve sales goals; demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Destination Market Experience: Experience working within destination markets, preferably in sales and event planning.
  • Sales CRM Experience: Familiarity with Cloud-Based Applications, particularly Google Suite products.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $72,000 per year, plus benefits, to the successful candidate. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the great outdoors, we encourage you to apply.
