Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist II to join our team at Bozeman Health. As a coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining all cytology data in accordance with CAP standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen gyn and non-gyn specimens for abnormalities
  • Fulfill administrative duties, including documentation and specimen verification
  • Work closely with pathologists to provide excellent care and timely results to patients
  • Maintain effective laboratory operations, adhering to standards of specimen collection, preparation, and laboratory safety
  • Adjust, maintain, or repair laboratory equipment, including microscopes
  • Perform karyotyping or organizing of chromosomes according to standardized ideograms
  • Assign tasks or coordinate task assignments to ensure adequate performance of laboratory activities
Requirements
  • Graduate of a School of Cytotechnology accredited program by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
  • Montana Licensure (Clinical Laboratory Scientist)
  • Cytotechnologist (ASCP) Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years' of Cytotechnology experience
