Polysomnography Specialist

At Central Maine Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnography Technician to join our Sleep Medicine team. As a Polysomnography Technician, you will play a critical role in administering diagnostic testing to patients with known or suspected sleep disorders.

• Administer diagnostic testing to patients with known or suspected sleep disorders
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Polysomnography in accordance with physicians' orders and department policies and procedures
• Work under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Coordinator to ensure high-quality patient care

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure preferred
• Graduate of AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy or completion of Polysomnography program
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• A minimum of one-year Polysomnographer experience preferred
• Registered Polysomnographer (BRPT) within 2 years of hire

• Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Additional languages preferred
