Polysomnography Specialist

At Central Maine Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnography Technician to join our Sleep Medicine team. As a Polysomnography Technician, you will play a critical role in administering diagnostic testing to patients with known or suspected sleep disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer diagnostic testing to patients with known or suspected sleep disorders
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Polysomnography in accordance with physicians' orders and department policies and procedures
- Work under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Coordinator to ensure high-quality patient care
- Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure preferred
- Graduate of AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy or completion of Polysomnography program
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
- A minimum of one-year Polysomnographer experience preferred
- Registered Polysomnographer (BRPT) within 2 years of hire
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Additional languages preferred
