Key Responsibilities:

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will perform clinical duties such as patient assessment, including measuring weight, blood pressure, and temperature, as well as updating medication records and documenting patient concerns. You will manage electronic prescription services, ensuring effective communication with pharmacies and accurate verification of all medical prescriptions.

Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is essential. You will also conduct phlebotomy and EKG procedures.
Handle incoming calls, screen inquiries, retrieve voicemails, and return patient communications.
Oversee pre-certification requirements for various medical procedures.
Communicate lab results to patients and maintain daily logs.
Assist patients with inquiries regarding appointments and testing procedures.
Coordinate scheduling for procedures, medical tests, and referrals, ensuring accurate dates, times, and locations while managing any necessary changes.

Responsible for scheduling patient appointments, confirming essential information such as demographics and insurance details in the medical record.

Collaborate with other staff members as directed.
Perform additional job functions as required.
Possess a solid understanding of nursing principles, medication protocols, and infection control policies in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Maintain accurate medical records and reporting.
Participate in required meetings.

Educational Requirements:

Licenses & Certifications:
