Healthcare Claims Specialist

Your responsibilities will include processing medical record submissions, managing cases from opening to closure, and providing exceptional communication with providers. Key Responsibilities:

* Process medical record submissions through various avenues
* Manage cases from opening to closure, including verification and management of standard turn-around times
* Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide exceptional communication with providers

Requirements:

* High School Diploma / GED
* 1+ years of Customer Service experience
* Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
* Ability to work in an environment with PHI and adhere to HIPAA privacy requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

* 1+ years of experience in healthcare-related or healthcare claim industry

Telecommuting Requirements:

* Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure
* Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
* Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
