We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Host/Cashier to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. As a Host/Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience.

• Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner, escorting them to their tables and ensuring their needs are met.
• Monitor the flow of the restaurant, seating guests and delivering menus and other items as needed.
• Perform restroom checks, answer phones, and maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, bakery, and retail areas.
• Practice safe food and beverage handling, and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and manage guest complaints in a professional manner.

• Excellent guest service skills and experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
• Detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong menu knowledge and ability to accurately handle money and make change.
• Computer skills, including POS system experience.

The Host/Cashier role requires standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to reach, bend, and stoop is also necessary. Additionally, the role requires excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
