Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will coordinate the schedules of modality staff, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards. You will oversee daily activities within the department, monitor service quality, and facilitate educational opportunities for team members. Your contributions will directly influence patient satisfaction and operational success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage radiographic services during assigned shifts, ensuring timely and quality examinations.
  • Monitor and enhance patient scheduling processes to optimize departmental efficiency.
  • Conduct radiological and fluoroscopic procedures, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Administer contrast agents safely, while ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and assist in necessary calibrations, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Ensure accurate patient records in our picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and other medical records systems.
  • Support team members in their professional development and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Actively engage in initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and resolve any issues that arise.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in healthcare or a related field is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in healthcare or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC is required upon hire.
