About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Polaris Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our distribution center operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and systems, including conveyor and robotic systems, PLCs, electrical equipment, mechanical, pneumatic, HVAC, and hydraulic systems.
  • Problem-Solving and Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure maximum equipment runtime and minimize downtime.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose and repair issues with conveyors, sorters, and other automated systems using HMIs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate and manage external vendors to complete facilities tasks or special projects.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical degree in electrical or mechanical maintenance preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting; experience with HMIs, PLCs, and other automation systems.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens controls, Dematic conveyor systems, SICK scanners, and Raymond forklifts and lift trucks.
