Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Charge Nurse to join our team at Wharton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wharton, TX. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident condition and implement care plans as directed
  • Administer medications as prescribed and perform narcotic reconciliation
  • Collaborate with physicians and record visits in clinical records
  • Oversee and monitor aides to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
  • Initiate and complete incident reports and discharge residents as per facility policy
  • Communicate with residents' families and caregivers regarding status updates and changes in condition
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
