About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Commercial Metals Company. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify cash drawer balance at the beginning and end of shift
  • Process customer payments by ticket received from Scale Operator
  • Maintain checkout operations by following company policies and procedures
  • Enter A/P Freight Invoices into database
  • Assist customers with Cash Card applications
  • Answer incoming calls and provide support as needed
  • Demonstrate dependability and flexibility to meet business needs
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years cashier experience
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to sit and stand for duration of shift, up to 8 hours
