Welder Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team at Stahl Truck Bodies. This is a full-time position, working 2nd shift, from 3pm-11pm.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience working with various steel alloys and aluminum. They will be able to interpret mechanical drawings, set up and operate welding equipment, and perform finish grinding applications using manual and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbology
  • Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys and aluminum
  • Working knowledge of fixturing and weld setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
  • Conventional and precision measuring instruments
  • Process inspection, certification, and documentation
  • Welding equipment maintenance
