Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Trainee to join our accounting team. This role will involve supporting the finance department through a variety of administrative and accounting functions. The selected candidate will gain exposure to corporate finance operations within a multinational, publicly traded organization. The standard working hours are typically from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility to accommodate academic commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing vendor invoices by utilizing the 3-way match method to enter purchase order vouchers into the ERP system; identify and escalate discrepancies as necessary.
  • Support the coding of non-purchase order invoices and the entry of vouchers into the ERP system.
  • Help with the processing and distribution of receivable invoices.
  • Maintain organized accounts payable open and paid files.
  • Scan and file documentation related to accounts payable and receivable.
  • Manage files for resale certificates and W-9 forms.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on fixed asset projects, including scanning, filing documentation, and data entry into the Fixed Assets System.
  • Facilitate external audits by providing requested documentation.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and generate reports and analyses as required.
