About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical team at Longview Regional Medical Center. As a RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

* Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans
* Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
* Administer medications and perform various patient tests within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
* Promote patients' independence by teaching them self-care skills and establishing goals for patient care
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

* Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program
* Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
* Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
