Job Summary

We are currently seeking highly skilled RRTs to fill travel and local contract opportunities throughout our network of hospitals. As a travel RRT with KPG Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including intensive care units, pediatric units, and pulmonary rehabilitation departments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and cystic fibrosis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Administer medications and treatments, including oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications.
Requirements
  • Current RRT certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in an intensive care unit or pediatric unit.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
