Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Test Equipment Engineering team at Raytheon. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating test products for various Raytheon products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop test products, including test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Integration and Testing: Integrate and test test products, including troubleshooting and resolving issues associated with development and implementation.
  • Project Management: Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design, development, and integration, with a strong background in test equipment engineering.
  • Skills: Proficiency in electrical engineering design tools, such as Altium, DX Designer, and Mentor Capital, as well as experience with test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, and network analyzers.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in STEM field.
  • Experience in project management and leadership.
  • Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques.
  • Experience with programming languages and debugging tools.
