Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Firestone Complete Auto Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex drivability and electrical systems, while also providing leadership and mentoring to our team members to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, transmission fluid changes, and filter replacements
  • Install batteries and inspect electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct tire maintenance and repairs, including balancing and rotation
  • Install parts and accessories, such as brake pads and air filters
  • Road test vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of basic mechanical tasks and procedures
  • Hold a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive company vehicles
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair, or completion of a vocational-technical school program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessments
  • Possess A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1-A8, or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications
  • Exhibit strong reading, writing, and math skills
