We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York. As a faculty member at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the advancement of medical education and research.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and endoscopy services at Montefiore Medical Center
- Oversee and mentor GI fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and medical students
- Participate in research and other career development activities
- Perform a wide range of procedures, including standard endoscopies and colonoscopies, EUS/FNA, diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, capsule endoscopy, and various advanced endoscopic techniques
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
- ABMS Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Proficient use of Electronic Medical Record System (EMR), such as Epic
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines
- Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
