Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Living. As a skilled nursing professional, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as necessary, serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
  • Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations, initiating corrective action as needed.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
