RN Registered Nurse Supplemental Staffing Float Pool Nights

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Supplemental Staffing Float Pool team at VCU Health. As a Clinical Nurse II/III, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our inpatient units and procedural areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to patients and families in a fast-paced environment
- Float to multiple units and areas within the VCU Health System to meet staffing needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in unit activities to improve patient care and administrative systems
- Assist with education and training of staff members
- Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program recognized and/or approved by the corresponding state's Board of Nursing
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state
- 12-24 months RN experience for Clinical Nurse II, 3 years of clinical experience for Clinical Nurse III
- Academic Health Care Experience and experience with similar patient population in either an acute care setting or as applicable to area of practice
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited program
- Certification in specialty area for Clinical Nurse III
Work all shifts, weekends, and holidays. Individual shift rotation and schedules will be established with your specific Nurse Manager/Practice Manager.
