We are seeking a qualified LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse with corrections, psychiatric, or related nursing experience to join our team at AB Staffing Solutions.
Job Responsibilities- Examine patients in a correctional environment, evaluate their response to treatment, and monitor their progress.
- Provide mental health and emotional support for inmates and refer them to appropriate mental health resources when necessary.
- Assist the Physician/RN with exams and treatments.
- Participate in sick call with a Physician to see inmates.
- Prepare inmates for examination and prepare the exam room and equipment.
- Dispense medications and maintain required documentation.
- Control medications and syringes in inventory as required.
- 2+ years of experience in psych, corrections, or related nursing.
- NC or multistate LPN License in good standing.
- Active BLS certification.
- Clean background check upon hire.
- $1,600.00 weekly gross working 40 hours.
- Weekly Direct Deposit Every Friday.
- Benefits Available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
- Plus Travel Bonus to the assignment.
