Job Title: Driver

At Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine, we are seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will play a critical role in providing safe and timely transportation to and from our facility for patient programming and other needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients to and from our facility, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Operate a vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless transportation of patients to and from appointments, therapies, and other activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including patient logs and vehicle maintenance records.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Previous commercial transportation experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Diplomacy and discretion essential.
  • Ability to read a map and use a GPS.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to push and maneuver wheelchairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
