Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $16 - $18 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Roadway Electrical Helper to join our team in Baltimore County, MD. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for assisting electricians with repairs, loading and unloading light poles, installing and demoing light poles, installing foundations, conduit, hand boxes, and wire, and repairing outages.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with repair duties
• Loading and unloading light poles
• Installing and demoing light poles
• Installing foundations
• Installing conduit, hand boxes, and wire
• Repairing outages
• Must understand Miss Utility rules and regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• A preferred Class C drivers license (standard license) with no points
• Experience driving a truck is a plus
• Some electrical experience preferred
• Must have own hand tools
• Speak and write English

Working Conditions

This position requires:

• Bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead
• Lifting 51 pounds
• Constantly moving on your feet all day long
• Climbing ladders of all types
• Completing overhead work for full day's assignments
• Ability to transition from employee parking areas into construction sites and gain access to all levels of working areas
• Good vision (normal or corrected)
