Cyber Technology Instructor

Savannah Technical College is seeking a highly qualified Cyber Technology Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to our students, preparing them for successful careers in the field of cyber technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of our students.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students, ensuring they achieve their academic goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, incorporating relevant knowledge into your teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students and the industry.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Three years of full-time, paid, cyber-related and/or computer information systems work experience within the past seven years.
  • Minimum of two years' experience training or teaching information technology, computer science, or closely related fields.
  • Proven experience in maintaining lesson plans and course notebooks that reflect current curriculum.
  • Experience in designing and implementing quality improvement programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching at the postsecondary level.
  • Industry certification(s): MCSA, MCSE, CompTia A+, Network+, MOS, or Security+.
  • Ability to cross over into the following areas: networking, programming, web site design, and web development.
